BlackBerry Venice Iykeblog

Every one of us know that BlackBerry products is nosediving this days and actually they thought that moving to an Android OS powered devices can get them back on track.

BlackBerry made it known that its next smartphone would be powered by Android and checking out the images posted by Evans Blass AKA “evleaks” on twitter, the image shows a BlackBerry Smartphone with Android interface and some Google apps like chrome, map and Drive. The image also shows a Samsung Galaxy S6 edge curve like edges smartphone.
This is likely going to be the UN-announced BlackBerry Android powered device. Rumors also have it that the device has a slide-out physical keyboard. (although this can be spotted in the image shared by Evleaks).

This could be the Android-based BlackBerry Smartphone
Reuters also reported last month that BlackBerry was building a slide-out physical keyboard smartphone but they didn’t indicate whether it is the said BlackBerry Android powered device.
Another report from BlackBerry enthusiast site N4BB refer to the phone by a code name Venice.

This I think can make BlackBerry regain some strong footings in the mobile market (that’s if it’s for real) for there are many smartphone out there with 89% of them having no physical keyboard, who doesn’t like physical keyboards if am to ask?, If you’re not a fan of physical keyboards I am and I know some guys out there can’t wait to lay their hands on the physical keyboard enabled Blackberry Android powered Smartphone.

Rumored specs of this said smartphone includes:-
  • 5.4-inch display with 2560-by-1440 resolution
  • a1.8GHz Snapdragon 808hexa-core processor
  • 3GB Ram
  • 18MP rear camera and
  • a 5MP front facing camera.
Reports suggests that if Venice is real that it’s going to debut on November.
