The South Korean tech giant, Samsung has introduced two new smartphones, Samsung Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 in to Indian market.

Samsung partnered with FlipKart and as a result of that, the two new mid-range smartphones is exclusive on FlipKart.

Samsung also teamed up with Airtel to give free 6months 4G LTE data along with unlimited music streaming for the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 users.

Early buyers from FlipKart will also receive the flip wallet cover that worth Rs 999 for as low as Rs 199.

The game lovers were not left out on this  Samsung J5 and J7 bonuses as Samsung also collaborated with Gameloft to offer Rs 3,200 worth of in-game credits.

The two new Samsung smartphones runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

Distinct difference exists between the two smartphones.

The Galaxy J5 has a 5.0 inch super Amoled HD display, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 Soc processor,1.5GB RAM,16GB native storage(expandable via microSD up to 128GB),13MP back camera,5MP front facing camera and is powered by a removable 2,600 mAh battery.

The Galaxy J7 on its own features a larger 5.5 inch screen, powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core Exynos 7580 Soc and a 3000 mAh battery,1.5GB RAM, 16 GB native storage (expandable via microSD up to 128GB.

The Samsung Galaxy J5 which was launched in China last month spots some difference with the one launched in India on Thursday. The difference is on display and internal memory. The one launched in China has a TFT LCD display and 8GB internal memory while the one launched in India as stated earlier features a 5-inch HD super Amoled display.

The Galaxy J5 is priced at Rs 11,999 while Galaxy J7 is priced Rs 14,999.

It is likely that the appearance of these two new smartphones won`t differ from other Samsung smartphones in the market. The Galaxy J7 looks somehow like the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 which was launched back in 2013.
