Mtn Simple Server Settings For PC - 2016

I guess you might have heard of the MTN simple server unlimited browsing and downloading tweak for just N70 naira daily both on Android and PC.

If you haven't heard about it then don't say that you have  missed something because it is still working like never before (though it started functioning earlier last
year).

In this post i will show you how to set it up on your PC and enjoy it while it last .

Below are the basic requirements that you need to have before we proceed .

• The first thing is to download the latest simple server for PC (already configured) by clicking here.
• After downloading extract the ZIP file to your desktop
• Open the extracted simple server.exe that is contained in the ZIP file that you extracted
• Subscribe  to  Mtn daily BBLITED bb10 bundle by sending "BBLITED" without quote as an SMS to 21600 (costs N70) and wait to for confirmation message before inserting the sim into your modem . 
• After confirmation remove the sim from your mobile phone and insert it on your modem and plug on pc
• After that navigate to settings on your modem dashboard and modify the APN as follows

APN: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
Port:8080

• Now open any of your preferred web browser (Firefox recommended) and navigate to Options > Advanced tab > network and tick the manual proxy configuration box and input “127.0.0.1” as  http Proxy and“8080" as port and also remember to tick on "Use this proxy for all protocols". Just as seen in the image below.
  

After that click OK and enjoy your browsing .

And for those using IDM (Internet Download Manager) to download files from the internet you can as well set your IDM up with the same APN and Proxy and enjoy.
