Tecno unveiled the much anticipated Tecno Phantom smartphone codenamed “Phantom 5” on Wednesday being the 16^th of September, 2015 in a colourful event that held at Sheraton Hotel Ikeja, Lagos state.

The colourful event also featured the presence of some celebrities like M.I Abaga, Chuddy K and others.

The name Phantom 5 was coined from the fact that the Phantom 5 is the 5^th smartphone in Tecno Phantom series of smartphone.

The Tecno Phantom 5 is termed as Tecno`s flagship smartphone of 2015 and truly it is worth the tittle because the specifications are good and is targeted for high-budget users.

The smartphone features a 5.5-inch FHD screen with 1080 x 1980 pixel resolution and 151 x 75.8 x 6.8mm dimension. The body is all metal and slim also.

At the memory department of the Phantom 5 there is a 32GB inbuilt storage (ROM) which is expandable with MicroSD and a whooping 3GB of RAM. Processing in the Phantom 5 won’t lag because the Octa-core cortex A53 CPU with speed clocked at 1.5GHz, MediaTek MT6753 chipset, Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM can power the device effectively.

The Phantom 5 came with the long awaited Android 5.1 Lollipop.

At the rear side of the Tecno Phantom 5 there is a 13MP camera with dual flash that promises a good shoot taking experience whereas at the front, 8MP shooter is present also with flash for effective selfie shooting in the dark.

Did i  mention that this device is the first and only Tecno phone to feature a finger print sensor?

The price of this smartphone is a no no for some folks (N70, 000) but Tecno said that they are set and ready to compete with the premium smartphone brands like Samsung, Apple, Huawei, Sony etc.
