What is backlink and how do i check the amount of backlinks that my blog has?
Backlink,incoming links,inbound links,inlinks,inward links as it is being called by most people are links (incoming links) pointing to a webpage .It is one of the major factor that tells if a webpage is to be ranked higher than the other in search results.
The more links pointing to a webpage the higher it ranks on SERP. Backlink is one of the factors that the giant search engine,Google use to determine the PageRank of a webpage and the process of building backlinks is what we call link building.
Link building is one of the most difficult task that a serious-minded blogger has to complete in order to attain the position that he wants to be on search results and to enjoy the excess organic traffic that is coming from search engines.If you want to start link building today,i will advise you not to engage your self in the black hat link building techniques,such as using of softwares to generate backlinks,buying (paying) for backlinks, it is illegal and it can lead to your blog to be de-indexed on many search engines like Google and you know what that means.
