How To Mod 2go With Java Phone

2go is now one of the most used messenger app with upto 30 Million + users as of the time that i published this post.

Many people wants to mod their own 2go i.e to change some texts like "connecting...." or even starting 2go to their own taste but they are finding it difficult because they dont even know where to start in modding /re - modding their 2go app.

If you have been wanting to mod your own 2go and you dont know where to start then dont worry anymore because in this my simple tutorial on how to mod 2go with your java Phone you will learn how to mod 2go with ease. So lets continue...

How to mod 2go

. There are some applications that we need to download before we proceed to this tutorial. The applications are listed thus;

1. 2go in .zip format

2. Blueftp.jar

3. Class translator.jar

4. Class Editor.jar

you can download the above listed applications by typing them one by one on google.

After downloading the applications

then go to your phone memory card and create a new folder and name it anything e.g 2go mod after creating the new folder open the Blueftp that you downloaded and locate the 2go in .zip format that you downloaded and and open it (with the blueftp) after opening it press "MENU" and scroll down to the option that say's " SELECT ALL" after that press menu again and click on "EXTRACT SELECTED ITEMS" then go back and open the new folder that you created.

After you might have opened the new folder that you created click on menu and again Click PASTE. N0TE:you have to wait untill the extraction completes. then exit blueftp

Now it's time to make use of the class translator that we (you) downloaded.

Now open class translator and locate the new folder that you created i.e the folder that you extracted the 2go in .(dot) zip format into. Now you will see something like Twogo.class,aq.class, am.class etc just edit everything in .class format to your taste.

After editing then press save to save what you editted and close the class translator and open the class editor that we (you) downloaded

In the Class Editor,Locate MANIFEST.MF In The MANIFEST Folder And Edit The Application Properties Like Name, Vendor, Description, And Other Edittable Properties. Now Use The BlueFTP, Select All The Extracted Files, Press Option And Scroll Down To Compress As Jar, Press It And Enter Any Name Like 2gomod_jar. Now Press Ok To Compress. After Compressing, close the blueftp and open the new folder that you created and locate the newly created 2go and Rename it From 2gomod_jar To 2goFile.jar and thats all, you have successfully modded your own 2go.
